Based on the Decision on Implementing the Progressive Delay of the Statutory Retirement Age (adopted 2024-09-13; effective 2025-01-01): male employees’ age rises from 60 to 63 by one month for every four birth months; the original age 55 group rises to 58 at the same pace; and the original age 50 group rises to 55 by one month for every two birth months. Special occupations rise to 58 for men and 48 for women.
Flexible early retirement cannot precede the original statutory retirement age and is capped at three years. Flexible deferred retirement requires agreement with the employer and is also capped at three years.
